Structural EngineerOur client is a well-established multidisciplinary engineering firm that specializes in land development engineering, structural engineering, and building services (mechanical and electrical). They are looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Kingston on a hybrid/remote basis.Role and Responsibilities: Planning, design, execution, and completion of projects for our clients.Commitment to high quality, optimized and the cost-effective delivery of Mechanical Engineering projects ensuring safety, compliance, and overall client satisfaction.Provide technical expertise, guidance, training, and mentorship to their team.Act as the Project Manager, on single discipline projects ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.Coordinate with other departments on multi-disciplinary projects to ensure the projects are moving forward as planned.Write proposals, project abstracts and technical reports.Build strong relationships with our clients and contributing to the continued growth and success of the company.Qualifications: Professional Engineering license with PEO (other provincial registrations considered an asset.)Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a Structural Engineering focus.4+ years relevant working experience as a Structural Engineer in an Engineering Consulting firmIndustrial, Commercial and Residential building design experience considered an asset.Design experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression.Proficient with Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and Revit, SAFIStrong understanding and working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards, Ontario Building Code, Handbook of Steel Construction and Concrete Design Handbook
