DutiesDuties for the position may vary and include: conducting IN-PERSON weekly practicals which involves guiding students on how to dissect sheep's brain, designing lesson plans for practicals, designing and giving quizzes. Duties also include marking exams/quizzes, holding office hours and answering student emails, clerical and administrative duties. Specific duties will be outlined in the DDAH form, as created by the instructor.IN-PERSON practicals will take place at various times on the UTSC Campus (see online timetable for schedule). Please check the UTSC timetable and ensure you are available to be slotted into the various timeslots before applying. Successful application is dependent on ability and availability to lead the in-person practical. Minimum Qualifications Includes ability, academic qualifications, suitability for the position, appropriate background in the subject/specialty, previous experience, & previous satisfactory employment. Candidate should have strong background in neuroscience, course work in the study of the brain, and advance experience with anatomical dissections. Preferred Qualifications Preferred if applicants have taken the graduate level brain dissection course at St. George.Relevant CriterionPrevious experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
