Who we need

 

Education 

  • University degree in social work, public health, community engagement or health promotion or a combination of relevant education and experience 

  • Experience 

  • 2-3 years’ experience in health care, health promotion or community engagement context 

  • Experience working with people with lived experience in a meaningful and respectful manner. 

  • Experience in customer services or managing public inquires in health setting. 

  • Knowledge of and application of health equity and reconciliation lens to advocate for systems change. 

  • Advocacy to create systems and community change. 

  • Skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 

  • Strong facilitation skills 

  • Comfort and ability working in a cross-functional team 

  • Ability to work independently and pro-actively

  • Ability to influence decision makers and lead/engage small and large groups to support current initiatives/activities
