Specifics of the role


 The Lennoxville Vocational Training Centre is looking for RAC content specialist in all programs of studies offered.
The RAC content specialist assesses, within a well-defined framework, the skills of candidates in their field of specialization. They determine whether the candidate possesses the necessary skills to obtain their diploma, or to have their competencies recognized. The content specialist assesses the candidate's training needs and directs them to the necessary resources, working in collaboration with the RAC counsellor(s). More specifically, the content specialist:

Accompanies and guides candidates through the entire RAC process
Evaluates the candidate's knowledge in relation to the pre-established assessment forms
Participates, as required, in the analysis of applications for admission to the program

 Hourly paid




Workload (%)


 Variable and on demand.
 This position offers flexibility on schedule management. However, the schedule must be adjusted to the availability of RAC candidates (days, nights, and weekends). 
 




Effective Date :


 Variable according to the demand




Salary :


 As per the current collective agreement: 
Prior to April 1, 2025:
$72.85 per hour for non-legally qualified teacher
 $78.71 per hour for legally qualified teacher
As of April 1, 2025
 $74.74 per hour for non-legally qualified teacher
 $80.75 per hour for legally qualified teacher

Required qualifications




Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Hold (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid Quebec teaching authorization: teaching certificate (brevet d’enseignement), a teaching permit, or a provisional authorization.
Hold a vocational education, college education, or bachelor's degree in their field of specialization

For diplomas obtained abroad, the comparative evaluation of studies completed outside Quebec issued by the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration attesting that you have a bachelor's degree is required.
Other requirements

The candidate must have several years of experience in the field of specialization
