We are currently looking for a Claims Legal Vendor Specialist which will be based in Chicago, New York, California or remote if not in reasonable distance of our field offices. 
The Impact You Will Have
The Claims Legal Vendor Specialist will primarily:
Manage all processes and tasks related to external bill review in Claims, both internally and externally.
Act as the single-point of contact for all matters relating to billing. The responsibilities of this role are broad and include training the adjusting staff, onboarding new vendors, coordinating appeals with the Claims service provider, managing the portal, tracking the performance of the bill review provider as well as the Claims providers and negotiating rates with the bill review provider.
Drive implementation of external bill review across regions, this role will majorly contribute to control Allianz Commercial’s global ALAE spend and compliance to Allianz billing requirements.
 
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Driving Operational management and oversight of bill review process.
Oversight and tracking of bills currently in review process, coordinating appeals, act as a single-point of contact for Allianz's service providers.
Management of the bill review portal.
Setting up of new accounts, manage and maintain existing ones and delete obsolete ones, manage and maintain rates.
Driving Roll-out and implementation of external bill review in other Regions.
Drive roll-out of external bill review in other Regions, fully support local Business Owner with all queries and tasks relating thereto.
Governance and Compliance.
Independently Handle all (IT) Governance and Compliance requests, including User Reviews, Data Privacy Assessments, etc.
Train local teams.
Fully support local Claims teams on their journey, train and educate them where required and act as the point of contact for all questions regarding bill review.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
Experience working in the Insurance and / or Legal or Professional Services sector.
Experience in implementing new standards, practices or solutions through wider areas of the business.
Assertive communication, good negotiation skills.
Proven ability to onboard and train internal people.
Proven ability of detailed working and adherence to standards.
Good understanding of legal and / or professional services industry, their commercial standards and practices.
Project Steering.
Basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential
Compliance experience.
Training skills.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
The annualized base pay range for this role is $120,522 - $187,548. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.  As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
