- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Support new hire onboarding, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and managing paperwork.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and physical files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee leave tracking.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Help coordinate training and development programs for employees.
- Support HR projects related to employee engagement, performance management, and compliance.
- Prepare HR reports and assist with audits to ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies.
- Assist in organizing company events, wellness programs, and other employee initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR support role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
