MegaZebra has been successfully crafting category-leading games for more than 10 years. You can now join us on an epic journey as we craft a groundbreaking, new mobile game that blends mind-bending arcade gameplay with immersive RPG elements.
By combining technology, game-design, art, analytics, and bringing together passionate people from around the globe we have repeatedly been able to produce hit games. We are based in Munich/Germany and Montréal/Canada.
We develop all our games in small and vibrant teams. Each team has a high degree of responsibility and creative freedom for their game and is committed to creating something outstanding. We are looking for a level designer based in Montréal or North America to work on one of our new titles.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Level design for a new game at the intersection of the arcade- and RPG genres
Create and implement exciting levels, which keep bringing new challenges to players
Balance levels based on data from analytics in order to optimize KPIs such as win-rates, retention, and monetization
Prepare and execute special and seasonal events
Work closely with game designers and economy designers
YOUR PROFILE
2-3 years experience in level design for mobile games
Strong interest and passion for arcade type games
Creative- and out-of-the-box thinker
Strong player empathy
Ability to analyze data in order to optimize levels
Familiarity with Unity is a plus
Strong desire to deliver results and ship top quality titles
Self-organized and self-motivated way of working
Strong team-player mentality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
