For more details, visit www.corrpro.comPlan and perform duties involved with testing, evaluation and installation of cathodic protection systems to inhibit corrosion on various structuresWork with specific objectives and instruction from senior staff on customer drawings and specifications Conduct various specific test procedures to gather data for evaluation purposesGather structure-to-soil potential data, soil measurements and rectifier dataSketch rectifiers, anodes, test stations, and other design features on prepared drawingsAssist senior staff in the preparation of survey reports and final job reportsSketch physical features of installation site for subsequent detailOrganize and reduce data gathered, prepare charts and tablesAssemble data for preparation of final client report including service recommendationsDiagnose and recommend remedies for system difficulties observed during resurvey operationsRecommend modifications as neededApply basic skills learned as Corrosion Tech I with increasing independence Provide maintenance of field test equipment, ensure good operating condition and render minor repairsTechnical Engineering Diploma, Apprentice/ Journeyman Electrician preferredNACE CP Tester or Technician certification3 years Cathodic Protection corrosion experience, ideally on oil and gas lines or assetsRectifier training considered an assetProficiency with computer software tools (Microsoft Word and Excel)Able to travel and work overtime on an as needed basisAble to lift 50 poundsExperience operating quads and snowmobilesRequired safety training include H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Defensive Driving, WHMIS, TDGOur company offers a Competitive Salary with Career Growth Opportunities and a Full Benefits Package including Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Paid Overtime, Per Diem, Paid Vacation and Holidays, and much more.Equal opportunity is a sound and just concept to which Aegion is firmly bound
